Privacy Policy

InstaFeed x Qualify ("the App") displays a merchant's Instagram feed on their Shopify store. This policy explains what data the App processes and why.

Data we collect

• Shopify store data: store domain, an API access token, and product data (titles, handles, images, prices) when the merchant tags products on posts.
• Instagram data: when a merchant connects their Instagram professional account we store the account id, username, an access token, and the media the account has published (images, captions, permalinks, timestamps). Images are cached on our servers so the storefront widget loads fast.
• Storefront analytics: anonymous, aggregate counters (feed views and clicks per day). No visitor-level data, no cookies, no IP addresses are stored.

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect or store any personal data of storefront visitors or the merchant's customers.

Data deletion

• Uninstalling the App deletes the store's data within 48 hours.
• Disconnecting the Instagram account (in the App or via Instagram's "Apps and Websites" settings) deletes the cached Instagram data and tokens.
• Meta-initiated deauthorization and data-deletion callbacks are honoured automatically.

Third parties

Data is processed via the Shopify API and the Instagram API from Meta Platforms, Inc., solely to provide the App's functionality. We do not sell or share data with anyone else.
